Seeing as our beginning ideas worked around the website "Facebook" we noticed we would have some copyright issues regarding the use of the website in our trailer and made a group decision to make our own social networking site based on the conventions of other websites like; Facebook, Twitter & Myspace. By mixing the components of each site together we had made an interface that our audience would be able to relate and understand.
Here is our first draft of our page "Social Book"
Social book came from the idea of "Facebook" and seeing as it was a social site we altered the name effectively. So far with the design for our network we have used a similar style to page layouts that our focus group uses (Twitter & Facebook) This & other images will be used on phones, computers and other aspects of our trailer that involve the decline and further relations to the deaths in our group trailer.
Each of our deaths in our trailer our connected to a social event that is declined on "Social Book" so as a group we decided to create a stamp effect that will be slammed onto a page when each victim dies. Instead of following a horror related font I went for a college font (http://www.dafont.com/colleged.font?fpp=50&text=DECLINED) as it is college students that are dying & this will genually leave our audience questioning the innocence of our decline stamp. This is only my first draft so as a group we still need to create each victims profiles and apply the stamp ETC...
