I first came up with the idea that one of our posters to should feature one of our deaths from our trailer. Then as we started to develop our ideas in our group we had decided that we were each going to create a poster on a death from our narrative creating a series of posters.
I feel that big films like Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and other films have also, used this technique of a series of posters. This make the audience more interested and eager to watch the films as they are unsure of what the storyline consists off.
Here is my first edited draft focusing on the death of victim 3:
In this draft I imported "Social Book" into the phone screen. I have also added and faded a "Bloody" font from the website
By using this website I am able to download free fonts for my poster work. Fitting into my design and making my poster "Horrific". When I displayed this poster at our "Focus Group" I asked for feedback.
Positive:
- good composition
- Social Book on the phone
- Blood
- Effects & darkness of the images
Negative:
- Writing wasn't clear enough - (maybe use the social book font to make the poster more serious)
- No billing board or casts
- Would like to see the age certificate
- More blood!
