Personal review...
As I watched this film in Digital 3D I was really excited about the clear crisp digital image being displayed on the screen. But, felt the 3D effects were to a poor quality so my actual cinematic experience was standard and enjoyable. I must admit back in 2003 when the fist ever film came out I was overly eager and excited for Johny Depps performance of Jack Sparrow as the films when on I fell more in love with the pirate theme but, was let down by the unimaginative storyline of number 4! Too predictable unfortunately. but, the action packed basis of the film kept me amused and with the special effects I was a happy girl. With the action well staged made the CGI less noticeable and made the film flow with a very clear and realistic feeling to it.
Johny Depp carry on from previous films balances out the action and humour just right giving his character(Jack Sparrow) a comical touch, and still holds the excitement and charm of the future Jack Sparrow storyline. Jack also, gives us the intimate feeling as we see a little bit of serious romance from the Pirate whilst searching for the fountain of youth something the audience has never seen. This film was defiantly one for the summer not the best as anticipated but, an exciting return to the Pirates. Good film thumbs up from me :)
Now for something funny & cheesy :D...
